From inquiry to launch

Know what happens before the work begins.

Choose the closest service, send the relevant intake, receive a written scope, and review the working website as it takes shape. You do not need to arrive with a finished brief or technical vocabulary.

Simple to follow. Specific enough to prevent surprises.

The exact work varies by service, but the decision path remains consistent.

1. Choose
Start with the service that most closely matches the current need. The intake on that page asks the relevant questions.
2. Confirm
Captain Webspace reviews the material, clarifies the scope, and confirms price, timing, responsibilities, and deliverables in writing.
3. Make
The agreed work is written, designed, developed, or repaired. Working pages are shared when review is useful.
4. Finish
Revisions follow the agreed scope. The finished work is checked, handed off, and prepared for launch or implementation.

Clear responsibilities keep the project moving.

The written scope identifies what Captain Webspace will create, what you will provide, and which decisions need your approval.

You bring...

  • The offer, audience, goal, and current situation.
  • Existing copy, logos, images, accounts, or reference material.
  • Timely answers and one organized source of feedback.
  • Final approval for content, design, and launch decisions.

Captain Webspace handles...

  • The agreed strategy, structure, writing, design, development, repair, or automation work.
  • Plain-language recommendations and visible working progress.
  • Responsive implementation and checks appropriate to the scope.
  • A clear handoff, launch path, and correction terms.

The useful answers, in one place.

Service-specific scope and intake questions live on each service page. These answers apply across the work.

What if my materials are unfinished?

Share what exists and say what is still in progress. The scope will identify what must be ready before work begins and what Captain Webspace can help create.

Can material from the current website be kept?

Yes, when it is useful and legally available for reuse. Existing pages, copy, imagery, and technical components can be reviewed before the new scope is confirmed.

When do I know the final price?

Fixed-price services show the base price and boundaries on their service pages. Custom projects receive a written scope and price after the intake and any necessary follow-up questions.

How are revisions handled?

The number and format of revision rounds are written into the scope. Feedback should be organized into one clear response from the person or group responsible for approval.

How is website access handled?

Passwords, API keys, and private customer data should never be sent through a public intake form. When access is needed, the project will identify an appropriate secure method and the minimum permissions required.

Does Captain Webspace sell hosting?

No. Hosting and domain accounts remain separate from the website project. Captain Webspace can prepare the site for an appropriate hosting environment and help clarify what the project requires.

What happens after launch?

The Full Website Build includes a 30-day correction window for issues within the agreed build. Ongoing maintenance, new content, and additional features are separate unless included in the written scope.
